Dear ToT Creator,

Hello! You’ve matched (or, if you’re a pinch hitter, chosen) on one of these characters, which already means you love something I love. Excellent! I am so excited about this exchange, and thrilled to see what you come up with!

To start, even though I’ve written a fair amount here, I want to say I’m actually very easy to please. As long as you stick in the general area of my likes and respect my DNWs, I’m going to be delighted. Also, I’m equally excited about all of these options! Some sections are longer than others because I have more specific ideas about certain character combos (or because I was coping and pasting from past letters where I had more letter writing energy), but I didn’t request anything I wouldn’t be over the moon to receive.

Here’s what this letter contains. Requests are for a mix of fic and art, tricks or treats, and I’d be thrilled to receive treats in either medium and type for all requests.

Characters are the most important thing for me in fic. I certainly appreciate a good plot, but seeing more of the characters I love is my number one priority.

I’m fairly open on tone and genre — fluff, angst, and basically everything in-between is good by me. As you’ll see, I have requested either trick or treat for all of these for that very reason.

I want to be clear that I did not request any characters unless I am very happy to get gen for them. That said, if you do want to write ship fic for the ships I mention liking, I define that broadly — everything from pining/flirting/other pre-relationship up through established relationship can make me happy. If you want to write smut I’ve included information on my likes, but I’d be just as happy with something lower rated. (Or, again: gen!)

Re: Halloween. I know some people really like to use TOT to do Halloween themed stuff, so I have tried to include some Halloween or spooky or etc. prompts for all my requests, and would be delighted to get that. However, I’m not particularly attached to the idea, so if that’s not your thing rest assured I’ll also be thrilled with my non-themed prompts or anything using my likes, etc.

I don’t really know much about how to describe art, and I will pretty much be guaranteed to love whatever you create because I am just amazed at anyone who can make art, but some specific patterns I’ve noticed in things I like:

For my age-difference ships where one character is underaged: the older character kinking on the younger one's youth (I would prefer it to be a neutral fact or a point of concern, not an active turn-on. They can — and preferable should — find the person hot, but without emphasis on "they look so young" or the like).

AU DNWs
I like canon-divergent AUs where the fic is based in the canon setting but goes in a different direction after a certain installment, or changes the outcome of a certain event, but DNW other AU types. So please:

• No AUs that change the canon setting, era, or rules of the universe (e.g., mundane AUs, addition of fantastical elements in a non-fantastical canon, soul mark worlds, A/B/O, high school setting, different jobs, etc.).

Why I requested it: MCU is my main fandom, and these four are my fave characters. More of them always makes me happy.

A note on timeline: I am fine with canon divergence at any point, or canon compliance. However, just FYI I’m not a super big fan of different first meeting AUs.

Fandom specific DNWs: Peter Parker shipped with anyone other than Tony Stark or dubcon with Quentin Beck or bad guys nonconning him (brief mentions of a relationship with MJ are fine, but I don’t want it to be a focus); Tony Stark shipped with anyone other than Peter Parker or the Tenth Doctor (brief mentions of his relationship with Pepper are fine, but I don’t want it to be a focus). [Peter and Tony’s relationship being platonic = totally fine]. Rocket ships. Nebula shipped with any man other than Rhodey.

Peter Parker
Peter is just so fucking endearing to me. I love how hard he tries to do good, I love that he has some bite, I love how whumpable he is.

Ships: As should be clear from my DNWs, I only ship Peter with Tony—but I really ship Peter with Tony, and that is always welcome, as is Peter/Beck with a Peter/Tony flair. If you’re interested in writing that, I am going to point you to some of my past letters for ideas of what I like:

My poor, broken, fierce Nebula. I love her so. I love her moral struggles, and her struggles with opening up, and the way she gets better at it over time (her scenes with Tony on the ship in Endgame slay me). I just love her and want to see her character explored more.

Ships: I am open to Nebula/any female character, and Nebula/Rhodey. Some particular favorites include 2014!Nebula/2023!Nebula, Nebula/Gamora (and in particular 2014!Gamora/2023!Nebula), Nebula/Nat, Nebula/Jane. But I am here to be sold on literally any Nebula femslash pairing you want.

Gen: Put Nebula with any character and I will be happy. For gen, I am particularly interested in seeing her interact with Rocket and non-Guardians characters. Ben Solo | Kylo Ren
[Fic or Art, Trick or Treat]

Why I requested it: Kylo is one of my favorite characters. I love how weak and blinded by his own angst he is emotionally, contrasted with his raw power as a force user. I love how he can’t quite commit to going all the way evil—even at the end of TLJ he still clearly feels a connection with Rey, at the very least, and looks miserable—but also keeps turning away every offer of help to come to the light side he’s given. I am interested in any sort of exploration of his character. He is also very pretty, and I love to see him whumped (that is a hint for writers and artists alike ;) ).

A note on timeline: I am not particularly interested in canon divergence, but would love to see his backstory explored, and am fine with you adding a whole lot of whump there if you so desire. Post-TLJ fic is also great!

Fandom specific DNWs: Completely unpleasureless sex, even for dub-con/non-con.

Ships: The only Kylo ship I have is Kylo/Rey, which I love a lot. If you are interested in writing that, I have prompts and thoughts in the following letters:

Gerri Killman, Roman Roy
[Fic, Trick or Treat]

Why I requested it: This show is my new obsession, and I love both of these two so much. I do ship it and would be really into ship fic, but I would also be totally, equally into gen involving either (or both).

A note on timeline: No strong feelings, and certainly no problem if you diverge from canon as it continues to air if you start writing before the season is over.

Fandom specific DNWs: None. On my mommy kink DNW -- for this fandom, I cut it down to "use of the word mommy in a sexual situation" instead. I just find the word profoundly unsexy in a sexual context which is why I have that DNW still, but I am fine with their dynamic otherwise having elements that go along with the kink, or having him use mom/mommy (semi) sarcastically in non-sexual contexts the way he does in canon.

I have also waived my no formalized BDSM DNW here. I'm not interested in them having long conversations about it in the fic, but I could see them having established something with safe words etc. off screen, and that's fine with me.

Ships: The only ship I’m actively into is Gerri/Roman, though background any of the canon ships is totally fine, and I also find Roman’s relationship with Tabitha fascinating and love her, so happy to see that explored as well. If you do want to do something with Gerri/Roman, I love their canon dynamic and just want to see you run with it. Some ideas/prompts:

• What does Gerri get out of it? Is she turned on? Does she just like the power?
  
• Gerri uses their relationship to her advantage. Partnering up? Blackmail? Making him promise her things in the throws of domming him? Etc. Feel free to go dubconny here, or lean into a positive if weird pair up.
  
• Tabitha finds out. How does she react? Is she cool with it? Does she freak out? Does she see how to use it to HER advantage Feel free to work in Gerri/Tabitha or Gerri/Tabitha/Roman if you want.
  
• Other people find out. How do THEY react? What about if the press finds out?

Gen:

Gerri: God I love her. She is so smart, and clearly knows how to play Logan’s game better than most—though not enough for him to want to give her the top spot. How does she feel about that? Does she want it? Would she ever all out make a move for it? Some other prompts:

• I would love to see just anything with her interacting with any of the other female characters, and esp. some of the other older ones, like Nan or Cyd—anything exploring these women in power in a man’s world and how they got there and kept that power.
  
• Backstory. How did she get to where she did in the organization? Why does she stay? Is it the money, or is there something she enjoys about being on the inside of such a powerful organization?
  
• She makes a move to take Logan’s place. Or she ends up in charge temporarily when he unexpectedly dies; how does she handle it? Does she want to keep it or not? Does she play kingmaker? Who would she choose?

Roman: He’s such a pathetic little asshole and I love him. I find him genuinely funny, and I have a real soft spot for the “I act like a fuckup because I’m afraid of trying and failing” type, which I think he definitely is. But he is also awful, and I understand/love that. Anything with Roman trying and maybe succeeding, or maybe failing spectacularly, or him just being his normal snarky self will make me happy. Some prompts:

• What was his childhood like? Dynamic with his brother and sister? Parents? (If you want to be Halloween themed, I’d love to know what a Roy family Halloween was like…).
  
• I loved the moment of Kendall IMMEDIATELY jumping to Roman's defense when Logan slapped him. It makes me long for some brotherly h/c, from any period in their lives. If you want to throw some incest vibes in there, too, I'd be down.
  
• Roman actually does something right in business and impresses Logan. What happens next?
  
• Somehow, Roman actually manages to take over from Logan, at least for some period of time. How does that go?
  
• Exploration of his relationship with Tabitha. What does she get out of it? What does he get out of it? Is it sustainable in the long run?
  
• Continued adventures in management training (and I love his friend if you want to include him!). What is Halloween at one of those parks like?

Why I requested it: This is my all time favorite show. The realism of it is just so good, and I mean that in all directions: the heartbreak and horror, obviously, but also the humor, the humanity of the characters, the love. I love all of these characters, and am interested to see what you would do with any of them. I just want more from this world, and will happily take whatever you give me.

A note on timeline: I’m not really interested in canon divergence except where prompted, but backstory/missing moments/things set after canon are all super welcome.

Fandom specific DNWs: None.

Ships: I am mostly interested in canon ships (I LOVE Rhonda/Daniels!), but if you have a non-canon ship involving one of these characters that you really want to explore I’d be happy to receive fic about it. Prompts below include some shippy stuff, too, and can be combined with ships, etc.
