First off, even though I’ve written a lot here, I want to say I’m actually very easy to please. As long as you stick in the general area of my likes and respect my DNWs, I’m going to be delighted, so please do not feel constrained by this letter; it’s meant to be helpful, not stressful.

Also, I’m equally excited about all of these options! Some sections are longer than others because I have more specific ideas about certain character combos (or am just c+ping from old letters in which I had more letter writing energy), but I didn’t request anything I wouldn’t be over the moon to receive, as should be obvious from the fact that I requested like ten million things. Also, I’ve requested and received some of this in the past. Don’t worry, I’ve loved what I’ve gotten; if I’m requesting it again, it's only because I want a million variations on the theme.

General Likes
Big Picture Points

Characters are the most important thing for me in fic. I certainly appreciate a good plot, but seeing more of the characters I love is my number one priority.

I’m fairly open on tone and genre — fluff, angst, and basically everything in-between is good by me.

For the pairs where I’ve requested ship fic, I define that broadly — everything from pining/flirting/other pre-relationship up through established relationship can make me happy. (Specific sections will give you more detail on what I’m most interested in for each ship.)

I love the MCU, so feel free to incorporate whatever other characters you want into any of the requests. I am generally a MCU multi-shipper, so you should also feel free to incorporate whatever ships you want, as long as they comport with my DNWs. However, I do prefer the focus not be on unrequested ships — happy for them to be there, but I would like the central focus to be on the relationship (romantic or platonic) I’ve requested.

It’s not a secret that Peter/Tony is my MCU OTP, but since I’ve brought up Peter dealing with Tony’s death in a lot of these requests, I want to emphasize here that I really am more than fine with you keeping their relationship strictly platonic for anything except the actual P/T requests. Of course, if you want to add a P/T element to other relevant requests I’ll be thrilled, but I am in no way expecting it, and I’ll be just as happy with the platonic spin, as long as you abide by my DNW about not framing it as an actual parent-child relationship.

I don’t really know much about how to describe art, and I will pretty much be guaranteed to love whatever you create because I am just amazed at anyone who can make art, but some specific patterns I’ve noticed in things I like:

MCU Specific DNWs

Peter Parker shipped with anyone other than Tony Stark. I am totally fine with him only having platonic feels for Tony (outside the P/T requests), but in that case I want him to be single. Passing mentions of him going on dates or having high-school level crushes are fine, but I don’t want him in a relationship or having serious feelings for anyone else.

Tony Stark shipped with anyone other than Peter Parker or Pepper Potts (single is also fine). If he is with Pepper, I would prefer not to have a big emphasis on their relationship: mentioning it or having her show up briefly is fine, I just don’t want it to be a central feature.

Peter and Tony’s relationship being framed as like parent/child. I am fine with emphasis being put on the mentoring aspect, but Peter already had multiple father figures, he doesn’t need someone else to fill that role. Don’t worry about this one too much in terms of “vibe”—as long as you avoid the characters saying/thinking something explicitly along the lines of “he’s like a father/son to me” you’re good!

I like canon-divergent AUs where the fic is based in the canon setting but goes in a different direction after a certain installment, or changes the outcome of a certain event, but DNW other AU types. So please:

• No AUs that change the canon setting, era, or rules of the universe (e.g., mundane AUs, addition of fantastical elements in a non-fantastical canon, soul mark worlds, A/B/O, high school setting, different jobs, etc.).

I had been inclined to like this ship before Endgame, but Endgame pushed me all the way to actively shipping it. Sam comforting Bucky at Tony’s funeral! The way Bucky gave Sam that nod! I love their banter-y, “I hate you” Civil War dynamic, and am really interested in how that grew into the respect we clearly see in Endgame (though I like to think they still snark on each other, too). I’d love to see that develop into a relationship

• They start as fuck buddies, but catch feelings, even if they have a hard time admitting it
  
• How do they move on without Steve, if old!Steve is from another universe and goes back to it rather than sticking around?
  
• Sam adjusting to being Cap, and how Bucky reacts. Is he helpful? Does he have weird/complicated feelings about it? Some combo?

• AU where Bucky goes on the run with Team Cap after CW.

I love the idea of damaged, ready-to-just-retire Bucky learning to heal and rediscover pleasures in life thanks in part to this enthusiastic young woman, who in turn finds him intriguingly different from all the people she knows. Despite the age difference, I don't see this relationship as one that has a power imbalance.

• Shuri wants Bucky to teach her some of his fighting skills. Does he agree? If he’s reluctant, how does she convince him?
  
• How does their relationship change over time, from their first meeting to a real connection? Does their relationship start as a fun hookup and then develop into something more, or the other way around? Or maybe they actually are genuinely just friends with some benefits.
  
• Shuri helps Bucky find a real home in Wakanda either pre-IW or post-Endgame
  
• They help rebuild Wakanda post-IW/Endgame
  
• Dealing with having been snapped. How do they both handle that? Do they have nightmares? PTSD? Do they find comfort in each other?

Gamora (2014)/Nebula (2023) [Fic or Art]
I was intrigued by Gamora/Nebula before Endgame, but this particular spin on it pushed me over the edge into full-blown shipping. There is so much interesting here. Nebula, who now has five years of doing good under her belt, but maybe still isn’t totally used to thinking of herself a good person dealing with a version of Gamora, who just broke free of Thanos, and hasn’t yet gone through all the development we saw in the GOTG movies. Nebula having to reestablish the sisterly relationship she had only just started to build with Gamora. Nebula, maybe having mixed feelings about this new/old version, loving her but also missing the version who died. IDK! Gamora, who always thought of Nebula as the one she needed to help, suddenly needing Nebula’s help to adjust to life free of Thanos. There is just so much to explore.

• Nebula had started to develop something with regular!timeline Gamora (requited or not), and now has mixed feelings about starting something with this Gamora.
  
• Nebula and the rest of the GotG crew find this Gamora, but she wants nothing to do with the GotG — does Nebula try to talk her into it? Or follow her away from them?
  
• This Gamora does go with the GotG crew: her struggles to fit in, and how Nebula helps her with that.
  
• Working through their past
  
• Action/adventure. Becoming a fighting team.

Natasha/Nebula [Fic]
Badass, closed-off women who have horrific childhoods and have committed atrocities and are various stages of trying to be better/redeem their past actions — what’s not to love? I really like the idea of these two slowly feeling each other out, and discovering they may have found a kindred spirit, a source of comfort, etc.

• They become fuck buddies, or maybe something more, during the five year Endgame gap
  
• Nebula is determined to find a way to bring Nat back
  
• Endgame AU where Nat lives. Victory sex? Maybe she’s convinced to go to space (space adventures!)? Maybe Nebula is convinced to stay (Nebula adjusting to permanent life on Earth)?
  
• Fix-it or AU where Nat lives: Nat stays on Earth, Nebula goes off to space; staying in touch over the years.

Peter Parker/Tony Stark [Fic or Art]
My MCU OTP <3 I really like to see this ship portrayed with: a) a strong sense of mutual affection, where they are both incredibly important to each other; b) a strong sense of mutual compatibility despite the age difference (I like them bonding over science and superheroing and the loses they've both suffered and how hard it is for other people to understand them); and most importantly, c) a strong sense that their relationship is ultimately a real positive for both of them. I really do not want any flavor of Tony manipulating Peter or Peter feeling used or put in a bad position — other characters can think that’s what’s going on, Tony can be really self-conscious and worried about making sure that’s not what’s happening, but I ultimately I want their internal dynamic to be a good one.

That said, I also like that this ship has a lot of potential for angst and pining, so feel free to lean into that if you want. I love Tony realizing he’s attracted to Peter and feeling tons of guilt about it and resisting acting on it for as long as possible; I love Peter realizing he has feelings for Tony but assuming he could never see him that way. I like either or both being super damaged by the events of IW/Endgame, especially if it results in overprotectiveness and intense focus on each other. Though sweeter/fluffier fic is a joy, too!

I like pre-relationship and getting-together fic for these two best of all. And ultimately, I would also like any fic for this pair to end on at least a hopeful note. They don’t need to get together if you write pre-relationship pining or the like, but I prefer at least a hint that the feelings go both ways, and that, ultimately, they’ll probably get together. And yes, Tony alive. That is a must.

• Endgame fix-it: Time travel? Resurrection? Whatever you want! Make it better!
  
• Aftermath of an Endgame fix-it: How does Tony deal with having died and come back? How does Peter deal with having watched him die? How does Tony deal with finally having Peter back? Etc.
  
• Aftermath of an Endgame fix-it: Tony came back wrong.
  
• Aftermath of an Endgame fix-it: Fix-it has weird side effects. Time loops! Soul bonds (ideas: pain sharing, physically hurts to be separated, feel each others’ emotions)! Time weirdly jumping around? IDK, whatever you want!

• I love H/C for these two. If that’s the direction you want to go, I wrote about my likes and prompts extensively in my H/C ex letter. I stand by all those prompts, either as presented, or with Endgame twists if you think of any. Where relevant, they count as requested dub/non-con for my DNWs.

A note on timelines: For this ship, I’d prefer fic where the events of Civil War and Homecoming happened as in canon, but after that, it’s free rein.

A note on Pepper and Morgan:

Pepper: I really like Pepper, and I DNW her dying or Tony cheating on her with Peter. I also DNW poly/open relationship for them. So I’d prefer a situation where they’ve broken up, or break up over the course of the fic, or, if this is post-Endgame, a situation where she’s moved on before Tony is somehow brought back and he has to accept that. Alternatively, while I don't want an AU where she and Tony were never together, I'm fine with an AU where they just never got back together post-Civil War, or where they broke up during the Endgame five years.

Morgan: I don’t want kidfic focus for this ship, but Morgan is cute, I’m fine with her existing. I like to think Tony is a good dad, so if you do have a world where she exists, please don’t make it impossible for Tony to be seeing her. Totally fine to have a P/T focus that barely mentions her and I can just read in that Tony is seeing her at other times, but like, no, “and then they decided to go on a yearlong vacation to space” or something. That said, also totally fine for you to keep all of Endgame but AU her away if you don’t want to deal with her.

Generally, the theme here is just throwing together characters I want to see more of. I have provided some thoughts and prompts, but honestly I’ll be happy as long as the requested characters are in a fic interacting. For any prompts about dealing with Endgame fallout, feel completely free to go full angst/mourning fic if you want.

Nebula & Peter Parker [Fic]
Two of my faves who have never interacted. I love the idea of the contrast between Neubla’s closed-offness and Peter’s enthusiasm and warmth. Also, they both have meaningful relationship with Tony, which is a thing for me. If you set this post-Endgame, feel free/encouraged to deal with how they are both dealing with Tony’s death, and the answer can be “really poorly” (especially for Peter) if you want. AUs (or future fic where Peter has already dealt with Tony’s death or whatever) are also great!

If you want to do Endgame AU or fix-it, also feel more than free to incorporate Tony into their dynamic as well, if you want.

Angsty focus on his death, or more future fic where they have formed an unlikely three-way friendship, or etc. are all great! Alternatively: AU where Tony lives!

I loved them so much in Endgame, and would love to see the dynamic they had their developed further. Rhodey’s humor contrasted with Nebula’s stoicism, the moment of bonding over working with what they’ve got; it’s all great.

Two of my faves. It looks like they spent a lot of time together in Endgame, and I was sad we didn’t get to see more of it! They’ve come a long way from hanging out in that forest in GOTG 2.

How did they pass the time while on their missions? How did their relationship grow and change over the years?

Post-Endgame, back with the Guardians: how has being the only two who lived change their dynamic? Are the other Guardians weirded out or confused that they are closer now? And how does adding Thor and his friendship with Rocket into the mix change things?

My new BroTP, I am thrilled with what Endgame gave us, and want more. That moment where Tony told her she won, and she had such a hard time processing that. I mean, my heart. And then the way she gave him the last of the food and moved him what he was passed out <3 They obviously became close, and it was nice to see Nebula like that.

• More scenes from their time on that ship. Other games? Working to fix the ship? Did their conversations ever get deeper, about their childhoods or the people they lost?
  
• Nebula reflects on Tony after his death.
  
• Did they keep in touch over that five years? Nebula meeting Morgan (or meeting her a lot and being “Auntie Nebula”) is very welcome.

“You have a metal arm? That is awesome, dude!” That line made me want a thousand fics of Peter being relentlessly cheerful and Bucky not knowing what to do with it but ultimately being charmed. Plus, there’s all this possibility for interesting tension post-CW, since they both have very strong ties to the different sides of that fight. And now, post-Endgame, there’s lots of juicy stuff to explore with Tony’s death and Steve’s leaving.

• Bucky is somehow roped into helping train Peter in hand-to-hand combat
  
• Peter tries to teach Bucky about modern movies
  
• AU where IW/Endgame doesn’t happen, and Peter and Bucky are around whenever Tony and Steve finally meet again post-CW and have to navigate that. Do they become friends while Tony and Steve are still tense? Work together to try to smooth things over? Or do they have prox-tension?
  
• Post-Endgame, they somehow end up bonding over having, in different ways, lost someone really important to them.
  
• Post-Endgame, Bucky takes it upon himself to become something of Peter’s protector, as a way to make up for what he did to Tony’s parents (which, to be clear, I don’t blame him for, but I took the way he looked extra sad at the funeral as a sign that he still has residual guilt there)

Peter is in many way Tony’s inheritor. Sam is Steve’s. But they’re also very different from Tony and Steve, and would have a completely different relationship to each other. So, anything dealing with how they both approach taking up their new mantels and working together would be fascinating to me.

• Sam, with his social worker background, tries to help Peter deal with Tony’s death and/or growing into being an adult superhero.
  
• Peter realizes that Sam is having stress/growing pains of his own taking over the Cap role.
  
• Missions together (imagine all the quipping!). Leading a new team together.

Two such centrally important people in Tony’s life: how do they interact with/see each other? I’m just very curious, and have no strong thoughts on what the answer would be, so feel free to take this wherever you want.

• Between CW and IW: Do they meet? How does Rhodey react to Peter being so young? Does he try to take him under his wing to provide more stable guidance than Tony, or does he have a very, “Oh no, I’m not touching this situation with a ten-foot pole?” reaction?

The one second of them interacting in IW made me want infinity more. She just seemed so amused by him, and he was in such awe of her. I think he would think she’s the coolest and she would be charmed by him, and it would all be very fun and adorable.

Peter Parker & Various Defenders [Fic]
Peter Parker & Matt Murdoch, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Frank Castle
Okay, so obviously the theme here is that I want to see MCU Peter Parker interact with the Netflix Marvel characters. I think the compare/contrast there is just really interesting: He, like them, focuses on street-level crime in New York. But unlike them, he’s also been brought into (and buys into) the Avengers “big leagues.” Plus, personality-wise he’s just so different. I also think the Netflix characters could all have things to teach him.

Peter and Matt: In particular, Matt could help Peter get a handle on his enhanced senses, since that’s something they have in common. And I could see Matt feeling like he had an obligation to take Peter under his wing if he figured out he was young and had similar sensory powers/issues. I think the compare/contrast in their approach to crime-fighting is also interesting. They both believe in non-killing, but Matt is obviously more willing to be incredibly violent up until actual death.

Peter and Jessica: I feel like she might find him annoying but kind of adorable? I can imagine a scenario where they meet and he decides she’s cool and interesting and just sort of keeps popping up until she’s willing to deal with him. And/or where she becomes reluctantly impressed when he does something stupid-brave. Or maybe she’s just constantly annoyed. (Of all these combinations, this is the one that strikes me has having the most opportunity for humor.)

Peter and Luke: Here, what I’m most interested in is contrasting senses of justice. They are both characters who are very tied to a particular place, and want to do right by it. But Peter is young, and seems to be mostly under the impression that doing right is a simple matter of stopping the bad guys. Luke knows it’s a little more complicated than that. (Also fun: very chatty Peter vs. more stoic Luke).

Peter and Frank: The one case where I think Peter would be well and truly frightened of the other character. I’d love to see something that deals with the contrast between their approaches to fighting crime.

Prompts (mix of character specific and general):

• Post-Endgame, Peter is in need of a new mentor (whether he’s eagerly seeking one, or in active denial of how much he needs one); how is he dealing with Tony’s death? With having died himself? Did the other character also get snapped, or not?

A note on other characters: I added “(or more!)” to a lot of these prompts, because if you want to incorporate more than one of these Netflix characters (or other ones!) into the story, I’m all for it (though I will not be at all disappointed if you don’t!). If relevant, I ship Karen/Frank, Matt/Elektra, Matt/Foggy, Luke/Jessica, Luke/Misty, Luke/Claire.

A note on timelines: I’m obviously happy to see things go canon-divergent AU. I also don’t mind if you simply fudge timelines or such to make a story work — I’m not entirely clear on how the Netflix shows are supposed to fit in to the general MCU timeline anyway, TBH.

The Doctor (Doctor Who (2005)) & Nebula, Rocket, Tony [Fic or Art]
These are all characters I think would be super entertaining to see interact with The Doctor. Feel free to use any New Who Doctor you want (or multiple Doctors over the course of the same story if you’re feeling ambitious): I know and love all of them. Also, feel free to combine these requests if you’re so inspired, since I like the idea of every possible combo of Nebula, Rocket, and Tony.

I’m mostly interested in focus on the MCU characters + The Doctor, rather than a whole Team Tardis. That said, I totally love every companion and love it when the Doctor actually remembers those who have come before, so discussions of past companions and such is fine.

The Doctor + Nebula: The Doctor is just so good at helping and getting through to people in pain, I would love to see them do that with Nebula at literally any point during Nebula’s timeline. If you do Eleven, Twelve, or Thirteen, feel free to either have the Doctor think about/acknowledge that Nebula reminds them of Amy or totally ignore it as you so desire!

• They are (or start out) on opposite sides of a situation back when Nebula was still under Thanos’ sway. The Doctor sees Nebula’s pain anyway, and maybe gets through to her, even just a little, that there is another way
  
• The Doctor helps Nebula find Gamora post-Endgame
  
• They end up taking on an enemy together
  
• Nebula joins the Doctor as a companion

The Doctor + Rocket: I think The Doctor would probably find Rocket fascinating and unique, but would also take such issue with his love of guns, theft, and general disregard for the law. On the flip side, I think Rocket would initially find the Doctor weird and annoying, but might eventually come to appreciate their faith in people, even if he can’t admit he appreciates it.

• They are (or start out) on opposite sides of a situation (for example, Rocket is trying to steal something and the Doctor needs that something to not be stolen for save the world purposes, or needs to steal it themselves)

It will probably be easiest to just AU away Endgame for this (or set it pre-Endgame if that makes sense for your story), though if you have ideas about how the Doctor and their timey-whimey can fix it instead, please go for it!

Cross-universe Spider-Men bonding because of multi-verse shenanigans! Feel free to combine any of the ItSV requests if you want (so, happy to see Peter & Miles & Peter B., or Peter/Tony & Peter B & Miles). And sorry I don’t really have specific prompts for these ones, but hopefully my thoughts on why I find interesting about the potential dynamics will be helpful! I really would just be thrilled to see these characters hanging out or fighting crime together.

Peter Parker (MCU) & Miles Morales (ItSV) [Fic or Art]
I think these two would bond and be adorable. I like the idea of Peter, who is still really young himself, suddenly being thrust into the position of being the older and more mature (but, let’s be real, also totally less cool) Spider-person. Beyond Peter simply being older, I think it would also be interesting to explore how he has lost so many people compared to Miles (not that Miles losing his uncle isn’t hard, but compare that to both of Peter’s parents, Uncle Ben, and now Tony). Also, Peter has been involved in much, much high stakes, crazy, stuff. Bitch, he’s been to space! And also died.

But you definitely don’t have to get into that heavy stuff! Cute bonding, fun adventures, etc. all is also wonderful.

Peter Parker (MCU) & Peter B. Parker (ItSV) [Fic or Art]
How would adorable, enthusiastic MCU Peter react to this older, jaded version of himself, and vica-versa? Did Peter B. Parker ever know Tony Stark? Is there even an Iron Man in his world? What wisdom does Peter B. have for Peter? Can he help him deal with his grief over Tony? After all, Peter B. is no stranger to loss. Do they team up together for a fight? Does MCU Peter remind Peter B. of his old enthusiasm? What does he think of MCU's very different MJ?

Peter Parker/Tony Stark & Peter B Parker [Fic or Art]
My thought here is that Peter B. would totally realize MCU Peter has a crush on Tony like, immediately, because they’re kind of the same person, so he knows the signs. From there, I have no idea. Is he like, yeah, get it kid, I’ma help make this happen? Is he like “dear god this is a disaster, danger, danger”? Does he try to vet Tony to make a decision?

Also/alternatively I just generally want to see Peter B. interact with Tony. How does Tony react to him? Does it make him determined to make sure MCU Peter never ends up like him? Does he get possessive or protect?

IDK, whatever ideas you have, I am sure they will be great, I just think this sounds like a fun combo!

Another one where I don’t have many thoughts, I really just want to see what you would do here. These two would be simply terrifying together, but in a fun way. I would prefer this with Nebula after she has turned good. Would Nebula be cool being a host on a long-term basis? Would she freak out at first? Only be okay with it for a brief period? I’m down with any of it.
